Agni-5: A successful beginning

On January, 30th, 2015 India became fifth country to possess inter-continental ballistic missile power. This is the emerging step in canister-based nuclear missile technology. The missile has a wide operational range involving Europe, China and East African countries of the world which is estimated to be around 5,000 kms.. Developed by DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization).

Very advantageous thing about Agni-5 is its low maintenance costs and requirement of less manpower in its handling.  

This was the third test launch for Agni-5, all the test launches had been successful making India a leading missile power in the world.

Agni missile have had their own journey and story in Indian defence.

After launching Agni-1 in 2002, India has never looked back.
