what is solar eclipse

As we all know that the Earth revolves around the Sun and the Moon revolves around the Earth. When all three Sun, Earth and Moon come in a straight line then this phenomenon causes solar and lunar eclipse. When the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth while revolving around the Earth, it is called a solar eclipse. During this time, the rays of light coming from the Sun to the Earth are not able to reach the Earth because of the Moon. And the moon's shadow falls on the earth. This phenomenon is called solar eclipse.
